Come Carnaval with Us

May 06, 2019

Join us on May 25-26 for the 41st Annual Carnaval San Francisco. A glorious two-day celebration of Latin American and Caribbean culture, history, and arts, Carnaval is always one epic party. 2019’s theme is “La Cultura Cura” which translates as “Culture Heals,” in an effort to raise awareness for healing support systems built through music, dance, art, and dialogue. From the eight-city-blocks-long street fair with tasty tidbits from around the globe, dance, arts, and crafts, to the myriad of live international musical entertainers, to the climactic Grand Parade, this is one of the premier spring events in San Francisco.

This year’s spectacular entertainment lineup will feature the world-famous, Grammy Award and Latin Grammy Award-winning band Los Tigres del Norte as the headliners. Additional entertainers include Azul Latino, the Bay Area Cuban All-Stars, Los Kimberos, Katiana Vilá and the Oakland Samba Revue, and many more. The Grand Parade will showcase dozens of music and dance performers, along with a dazzling procession of exquisitely-decorated floats portraying a variety of multicultural themes.
